Who we are

Enkindle Financial Planning Limited is an Appointed Representative of ValidPath Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 197107). Our registered office is Borrowstone, Jumps Road, Churt, Farnham GU10 2LB.

We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about anything here at enquiry@enkindlefp.co.uk.

What we collect

We collect personal information in a small number of ways:

• When you use our contact form: your name, email address, what you need help with, an approximate asset range if you choose to give one, and anything you write in your message.
• When you email or call us directly: whatever you choose to share with us.
• If you become a client: the fuller financial information needed to provide regulated advice, which is covered by the client agreement and privacy information we give you at that point.

How we use it

We use enquiry details to respond to you and to decide together whether we can help (our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us). If you become a client, we process your information to deliver the services in our agreement and to meet our regulatory obligations, including FCA record-keeping rules.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it goes

Your information is only shared with the small set of providers that make our service work, acting on our instructions:

• Brevo - delivers our contact form submissions and any emails you have asked to receive.
• Plausible - measures visitor numbers in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying individuals.
• Vercel - hosts this website.
• CashCalc - provides our secure client portal and cashflow planning software. The portal has its own login and privacy notice.
• ValidPath Limited - our principal firm, where regulation requires it.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies. We measure visitor numbers using Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused service that counts visits in aggregate without cookies and without identifying individual visitors. Nothing on the site records your individual browsing behaviour.

The only information stored on your device is your scroll position while you browse, so that your browser can return you to the right place if you go back a page. This is deleted when you close the tab and contains no personal information.

The video on our financial planning page is embedded from Vimeo in its privacy mode, which prevents Vimeo from setting tracking cookies. When you submit an enquiry or subscribe to our newsletter, your details are processed on our own servers and shared with Brevo, our email service provider, which acts as our data processor. The client portal link takes you to CashCalc's own secure website, which is covered by its own privacy and cookie policies.

If we introduce features in future that rely on cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for 2 years. Client records are kept for as long as regulation requires - typically at least 6 years after our relationship ends, in line with FCA record-keeping rules.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable form. Email enquiry@enkindlefp.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We will update this page if our practices change, and note the date of the latest revision here. Last updated: 1 July 2026.
